I wasn’t sure if I was going to introduce my business on my blog because I don’t want it to seem like advertising or like I am trying to promote my business. My blog is my journal and an outlet for my feelings and experiences. In thinking of that, how can I not share my experiences as an entrepreneur as it takes up most of my free time? I will include the occasional post about challenges, experiences, etc in running an online business and hope that this info may also encourage someone to start their own company. Many people dream of starting their own company and it takes a lot to make it a reality.
So, what do I do in my free time when my baby Jayden is napping? I work on a company I started along with 4 friends (hubby included) called FiveHumans. We are a Seattle based company with the self appointed task of curing ignorance through hip, fashionable clothing. Our t-shirts are created to raise awareness in bold style and provide all humans an opportunity to showcase their devotion towards spearheading change.
We have t-shirts dedicated to autism, cancer, diabetes, heart disease and asthma. Our t-shirts are intended to be fearless and thought provoking, so humans everywhere can spread knowledge and educate others. 10% of the sale price of each shirt sold will be donated to the related non-profit.
It has been amazing to donate money to charity and hope that in some way, I am making a difference. I can’t wait until we are more established and we are able to donate even more money!
