Katee. Joshua. Twitch. Courtney. Who will it be?

Last night was the finale of So You Think You Can Dance and it was, yet again, amazing.  I can’t believe how many routines they had to learn and perform in one week.  No wonder 2 of the contestants passed out over the weekend from dehydration.  I thought judges had awesome things to say about each dancer and I hope they all remember how wonderful they are when they are voted off because only one can win!

I tried to vote but the lines were busy!!  We watched it time delayed on our DVR, so we were up at midnight and still couldn’t get through!  I tried to vote for Joshua and Katee.  I think my hubby tried to vote for Twitch.

Katee and Joshua, yay!  I LOVED this Wade Robson routine.  The story is a couple that has had a major fight and then gets back together in the end.

I hope Joshua or Katee takes home the title.  In the end, I will be happy for whomever wins as they all are great people.

So You Think You Can Dance. Who me?

So, I’m a reasonably good dancer when it comes to staying on beat and be-bopping around the house with Jayden.  However, in comparison to the dancers on So You Think You Can Dance, I would be laughed off the stage.  They are amazing!  I am in awe each and every week. I am sad that the show is coming to an end but am excited to see the final performances and find out who will win!  I may actually get my butt up off the couch to grab the phone and vote this week.  Luckily for me, none of my favorites have been voted off.

FAVORITE COUPLE

I am IN LOVE with Joshua and Katee.  They are both amazing dancers individually but they are off the charts when they dance together.  I think almost every routine makes me want to shed a tear and I’m always smiling while watching them.  The following video is one of my favorite dances on the show and from the two of them.

Katee is an amazing dancer and I love everything she does.  I think this is my favorite routine of hers.  Even with the minor mess up, it is amazing.

Joshua hardly has any training which makes every routine he does even more unbelievable.  I don’t know if I have a favorite of his…  Probably something hip hop but he is great at everything.  I also really like that he is humble and seems to really appreciate everything.

I will be happy if either of them win!  Be sure to tune in so it can come back year after year!  Fox, Wednesday

I LOVE So You Think You Can Dance!

Last summer with a newborn that wouldn’t sleep but in my arms, I began watching more summer TV to keep things interesting. As if a baby isn’t interesting enough, ha! I started watching So You Think You Can Dance on FOX. I had seen previews for the show and wasn’t sure how cheesy it would be. I fell in love instantly with the format and the dancers. They are amazing!! You take dancers that are great at the type of dance they do like ballroom, hip hop, contemporary, etc and have them perform all different types of dances with a partner. Each couple draws a type of dance out of the hat each week and they must hit the entire routine or they are in jeopardy of getting voted off. To see a hip hop dancer doing the rumba is pretty cool. There are also regular and guest choreographers to give them the routines. Mia Michaels and Tabitha and Napoleon are my favorite. Mandy Moore is great too.

This year is amazing! There are about 3 – 4 couples that are so great, I’m not sure how you narrow it down to the finals! My favorite couple is Katee and Joshua. She is contemporary and he is hip hop. They have not messed up once so far and every time they dance, I can feel the emotion! Here is a video of one of my favorite dances they did. It is by Tabitha and Napoleon and it about a guy headed off to war the next day.

You definitely need to check out the show, it is great entertainment and you will be amazed at the ability of these dancers.
